Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of websites, mobile experiences, and services operated by AidHandy Inc. (“AidHandy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Overview of Services
AidHandy operates a marketplace connecting air travelers (“Travelers”) with independent third-party companions (“Companions”) for airport or in-flight support. AidHandy is not an airline, medical provider, transportation carrier, or travel agency and does not itself provide companion services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You may not use the Services if barred under applicable law.
3. Accounts
- Provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for safeguarding credentials.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse, safety risks, or policy breaches.
4. Marketplace Relationship
- Companions are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or partners of AidHandy.
- Any agreement for services is between Traveler and Companion. AidHandy facilitates communication and payments.
- AidHandy does not supervise or control Companion work and is not responsible for their acts or omissions.
5. Bookings, Pricing, Cancellations
- Pricing and fees are disclosed at checkout and may include taxes or third-party charges.
- Some bookings are non-refundable or subject to cancellation and no-show policies displayed during checkout.
- Change requests are handled per Companion availability and platform rules.
6. Payments
Payments are processed by third-party providers such as Stripe (including Stripe Connect for payouts). By transacting, you authorize charges to your payment method. Chargebacks may result in account suspension and recovery actions.
7. Safety, Conduct, and Compliance
- Follow all laws, airline policies, TSA/airport security rules, and carrier terms.
- No harassment, discrimination, or dangerous behavior. No illegal or prohibited items.
- AidHandy may remove content, cancel bookings, or terminate access to protect users or comply with law.
8. Prohibited Uses
- Fraud, impersonation, or misrepresentation.
- Interference with the Services, data scraping, or reverse engineering.
- Posting unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content.
9. Communications
By providing contact information, you consent to receive service-related communications (email/SMS) about your account and bookings. Marketing requires separate consent. Reply STOP to SMS to opt out. See our Privacy Policy.
10. Content and Feedback
- You are responsible for content you submit. Do not submit third-party intellectual property without permission.
- By submitting feedback, you grant AidHandy a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use it without restriction.
11. Intellectual Property
The Services, including software, designs, trademarks, and content, are owned by AidHandy or its licensors. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.
12. Background Checks; Insurance
AidHandy may enable or require certain Companion screenings conducted by third parties. AidHandy does not guarantee outcomes of screenings. AidHandy does not provide insurance. Travelers and Companions are responsible for their own coverage where required by law or contract.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AidHandy and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Services, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
16. Force Majeure
AidHandy is not responsible for delays or failures due to events beyond reasonable control, including strikes, disruptions, weather, public health events, or network/provider outages.

If you believe content infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] including: (i) your contact info, (ii) identification of the work and material, (iii) a statement under penalty of perjury, and (iv) your signature.
18. Governing Law; Arbitration; Class Action Waiver
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
Binding Arbitration: Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Judgment may be entered on the award in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class Action Waiver: You and AidHandy agree that claims may be brought only in your or our individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative action.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted with an updated Effective Date.
